ZZIC custom elevator deflector sheaves are designed for accurate wire-rope guidance in passenger elevators, freight elevators, traction machines and modernization projects. Precision-machined grooves help distribute rope loads evenly, reduce vibration and support smooth elevator operation.
Each sheave can be manufactured according to the customer's drawing, sample or installation dimensions. Diameter, groove profile, rope size, shaft bore, bearing arrangement and surface treatment can all be customized for new equipment or replacement applications.

Available Materials
Material selection depends on static load, elevator speed, duty level, rope specification and required service life. Common options include HT250 grey cast iron and QT600 ductile iron.
Grey cast iron provides good wear resistance and vibration-damping performance. Ductile iron offers higher strength and impact resistance for demanding elevator systems. Alternative materials can be evaluated according to the customer's technical specification.

Precision Groove Machining
Groove geometry directly affects wire-rope guidance and load distribution. ZZIC can machine the groove radius, groove pitch, opening angle and undercut profile according to the specified rope diameter and elevator system.
The complete set of ropes should contact their grooves uniformly. Incorrect groove dimensions or excessive lateral misalignment can cause uneven rope tension, accelerated groove wear and premature rope deterioration.
