Stamped Steel Body Protection: Unlike heavier cast iron models, this unit features a casing made from high-quality stamped steel. This reduces the overall weight of the tool for easier transport while providing a rigid shield for the internal gears and shafts.
360° Rotating Handle: The lever handle is designed to rotate a full circle, allowing the operator to work from any angle. This is critical when working in tight spaces where a full ratcheting stroke isn't possible.
Weston-Style Braking System: Safety is paramount. The hoist utilizes a mechanical load brake equipped with dual pawls. This system mechanically locks the load the instant the operator stops pulling, preventing any accidental slippage.
Blackened Load Chain: The unit is fitted with a high-strength G80 chain featuring a black oxide finish. This surface treatment provides superior resistance to corrosion and grime compared to standard zinc plating, making it ideal for dirty environments.
Free-Chaining Mechanism: By setting the selector lever to the center position, the operator can rapidly pull the chain through the hoist to adjust the hook length. This significantly speeds up the setup process before the load is engaged.
Ductile Safety Hooks: The top and bottom hooks are drop-forged and heat-treated. In the event of a severe overload, they are engineered to slowly bend rather than fracture, giving the operator a visible safety warning.
