1. Engineering Insight
The crane wheel is the most critical interface between your machinery and the rail. Our Double Flange Wheel Assemblies are engineered to resist the extreme stress of heavy loads and continuous friction. Unlike standard cast wheels, our units are typically die-forged, creating a denser grain structure that significantly reduces the risk of internal fracturing under high stress.
2. Performance & Durability
Precision Hardening: The tread surface (black area) undergoes high-frequency quenching, achieving a hardness of HRC 45-55. This hardened zone extends 15-20mm deep, ensuring the wheel resists wear while retaining a ductile core to absorb shock loads.
Rail Protection: The double-flange profile is precision-machined to ensure perfect alignment with standard rail tracks (QU/DIN/UIC rails), minimizing "gnawing" (rail wear) and vibration.
Complete Assembly: Available as standalone wheels or complete wheel sets (corner blocks) integrated with shafts, bearings, and bearing housings.
