Total Sheave Protection: The distinctive yellow steel side-plates create a fully enclosed housing. This design is crucial for two reasons: it prevents foreign objects from jamming the pulleys and stops the wire rope from "jumping the groove" (derailment) during slack-line conditions.
Frictionless Rotation: The hook utilizes a heavy-duty thrust bearing at the top trunnion, allowing for easy 360-degree rotation under load. This allows operators to position heavy cargos precisely without twisting the rigging.
