Working Principle

When the operator activates the control system, an electrical signal is sent to the electric motor. The motor starts rotating, and its motion is transferred through the gearbox to the lifting chain. As the chain moves, it either winds around a drum (in the case of a drum - type hoist) or pulls on the load through the load hook. The limit switches in the control system monitor the position of the load and stop the motor when the load reaches the upper or lower limits of its travel.
