Daily maintenance and management of cranes

Jan 19, 2024|

1. Daily inspection. The driver is responsible for the routine maintenance items, which mainly include cleaning, lubrication of transmission parts, adjustment and tightening work. Test the sensitivity and reliability of the safety device through operation and monitor whether there are any abnormal sounds during operation.
2. Weekly inspection. It is jointly carried out by maintenance workers and drivers. In addition to daily inspection items, the main content is visual inspection, checking the safe status of hooks, fetching devices, wire ropes, etc., as well as the sensitivity and reliability of brakes, clutches, and emergency alarm devices. Through operation Observe whether there are abnormal noises or overheating in the transmission components.
3. Monthly inspection. Inspections are organized by the equipment safety management department and carried out jointly with relevant personnel of the user department. In addition to weekly inspections, the main inspections are performed on the power system, hoisting mechanism, slewing mechanism, operating mechanism, and hydraulic system of the hoisting machinery, and replacement of worn, For deformed, cracked, and corroded parts, for the electrical control system, check whether the feeder, controller, overload protection, and safety protection devices are reliable. Check the failure signs caused by leakage, pressure, temperature, vibration, noise and other reasons of the lifting machinery through test operation. Through observation, the crane's structure, support, and transmission parts were subjectively inspected in order to understand the technical status of the entire crane and determine the source of the abnormal phenomenon.
4. Annual inspection. The unit leader organizes the equipment safety management department to take the lead and work with relevant departments. In addition to the monthly inspection items, it mainly conducts technical parameter testing and reliability testing of the lifting machinery. Through testing instruments, the lifting machinery and the moving parts of each working mechanism are inspected. Wear and tear, welds of metal structures, testing and flaw detection, and through testing of safety devices and components, the operating technical status of the lifting equipment is evaluated. Arrange overhaul, renovation, and renewal plans.
Of course, these are the most basic common sense that crane masters must master. The use and maintenance of heavy lifting equipment is very important. In order to avoid unnecessary accidents, it is recommended that cranes using heavy lifting equipment must perform daily maintenance and inspections to ensure that everything is foolproof. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the following three new standards, which will be implemented from July 1.
