The manufacturing process of crane full-forged hot rolled pulley
Nov 16, 2024| Manufacturing process:
- Forging: Forging is a process in which metal billets are molded into the desired shape and size by applying pressure. In the manufacturing process of the crane full-forged hot-rolled pulley, the metal blank is first heated at high temperature and then molded into the basic shape of the pulley by applying pressure through the forging machinery. The forging process eliminates defects inside the metal and increases the density and strength of the material.
- Hot rolling: Hot rolling is a process in which metal is rolled after being heated to a plastic deformation temperature. In the manufacture of crane full-forged hot-rolled pulley, the forged pulley blank will be hot-rolled to further improve its structure and performance. The hot rolling process can refine the grain, improve the toughness and plasticity of the material, reduce the internal stress, and improve the service life of the pulley.
