Single rope hoist hooks' working principle
Apr 03, 2025| Working Principle
- When the single - rope hoist is activated, the rope is wound or unwound around a drum or pulley system. As the rope moves, it exerts an upward or downward force on the hook. The hook, in turn, transfers this force to the load, allowing it to be lifted or lowered.
- The hook must be properly attached to the load to ensure a stable and safe lift. The center of gravity of the load should be aligned with the axis of the hook to prevent the load from tilting or swinging during lifting.
