Maintenance and inspection of eye lifting hook
Mar 05, 2025| Maintenance and Inspection
- Regular Inspections: Hooks should be inspected regularly for cracks, wear, deformation, and other defects. Visual inspections can be supplemented with magnetic particle testing or dye penetrant testing for a more thorough check.
- Replacement: Hooks should be replaced immediately if any signs of damage or wear are found. Overloaded hooks or those that have exceeded their service life should also be discarded.
- Storage: When not in use, hooks should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent rust and corrosion.
